Asthma Treatment at Vishwashree Clinic Thane

About this treatment

Tamaka Shwasa is a Kapha-Vata disorder of Pranavaha srotas: wheeze, tightness, cough with sticky sputum, and worse symptoms at night or in cold damp weather. Ayurveda does not ask you to throw away a prescribed inhaler in an acute attack. It works on the terrain so attacks become less frequent and recovery between them is better.

At Vishwashree Clinic, medicines are chosen to clear Kapha from the chest, strengthen Agni, and reduce hypersensitivity. Swedan, Nasya, and in selected stable patients Vaman are considered after examination. Diet avoids cold, curd at night, banana, and heavy sweets that increase mucus.

Who it may help

  • Known asthma with seasonal or dust triggers
  • Chronic cough with tightness and sticky sputum
  • Allergic airway complaints overlapping with sinus issues
  • People who want fewer flare-ups between medical reviews

Care at Vishwashree Clinic

Severe breathlessness, blue lips, or a peak-flow crash is an emergency, not a clinic steam session. Bring your current inhalers and reports. The physician will tell you what can be done safely in the clinic and what must stay with your allopathic plan.

  • Herbal support for Pranavaha srotas
  • Steam and Nasya when the chest is not in crisis
  • Kapha-reducing diet and daily routine
  • Panchakarma only in a stable, physician-selected phase
