Skin Problems
Care for acne, pigmentation, eczema, psoriasis, and dull skin from the inside out. Internal medicines, local applications, and selected Panchakarma are chosen for your skin type and dosha.
About this treatment
Skin disease in Ayurveda is often a Pitta-Rakta or Kapha-Rakta disorder, with Ama from poor digestion showing on the face, scalp, or body. Acne, melasma, eczema, psoriasis, urticaria, and premature dullness are treated as internal imbalances, not only as surface problems. Scratching, cosmetics, and steroid creams may calm the look for a while and then rebound.
At Vishwashree Clinic, treatment may include blood-purifying herbs, digestive correction, medicated oils or lepas, and Virechan or Raktmokshan when the physician finds Pitta-Rakta excess. Diet that aggravates heat, spice, fermented food, and late nights is corrected so results last after the medicines stop.
