Acne is one of the most common skin concerns we see at Vishwashree Clinic. It shows up in teenagers navigating hormonal change, and in adults whose skin is reacting to stress, late meals, dairy-heavy snacks, or cosmetics that clog the pores. A cream that dries the pimple may calm the surface for a week. It rarely answers why the oil, heat, and blockage keep returning.
In Ayurveda, stubborn acne is often Pitta and Kapha working together: excess heat in the blood (Rakta) with sluggish channels that trap Ama. That is why the same person can have oily T-zones, painful cysts along the jaw, and dark marks that linger after the bump has gone. Treatment starts with Nadi Pariksha, diet timing, and the quality of digestion — because skin is often reporting what the gut and hormones are doing.
Care at the clinic may include herbal medicines to cool Pitta, support liver and blood, and keep channels moving, along with an external routine that does not strip the skin. Selected Panchakarma such as Virechan or Raktmokshan is considered only when the imbalance is deep and the person is prepared. Harsh peeling and daily steroid creams are not the plan.
If you have been cycling between face washes, antibiotics, and concealment, a consultation can map a quieter routine: food, sleep, medicines, and procedures that match your Prakriti. Book a skin consultation at Shop No. 9, Rutu Enclave, Ghodbunder Road, Thane West.
