Menstrual Complaints at Vishwashree Clinic Thane

About this treatment

Menstrual complaints include dysmenorrhoea, heavy bleeding (Rakta pradara), scanty flow, clots, PMS, spotting, and cycles that come too early or too late. Ayurveda reads these as Vata, Pitta, or Kapha disturbance of Artava vaha srotas. Pain with constipation and anxiety is often Vata. Heavy bright bleeding with heat and irritation is often Pitta. Delayed sticky flow with weight is often Kapha.

Treatment may include pain-relieving herbal decoctions, uterine tonics, Basti for Vata pain, and diet that avoids ice, excess caffeine, and very spicy food during the bleed. We also look at thyroid, anaemia, fibroids, and PCOD history so Ayurvedic care sits safely beside investigations.

Who it may help

  • Cramps that stop daily work or need repeated painkillers
  • Heavy flow, clots, or prolonged bleeding
  • Scanty, delayed, or skipped periods
  • PMS, breast heaviness, mood swings, and fatigue around the cycle

Care at Vishwashree Clinic

A three-cycle view is more useful than one visit. The physician may change medicines before, during, and after bleeding. Rest, heat, and food rules for the bleeding days are explained clearly.

  • Dosha-specific internal medicines
  • Basti or local therapies when pain is Vata-dominant
  • Iron-rich diet and Agni support if weakness is present
  • Referral advice if reports suggest a structural cause
